About
Alex is the son of immigrants from Chihuahua, Mexico. He spent his childhood years in Duarte, California before moving to Hesperia where he eventually graduated from high school. He attended community college prior to matriculating and graduating from the California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) where he majored in biochemistry. It was at CSUSB where he connected with mentors who helped shape his future and provided him the opportunities to excel as a leader. He helped organize pre-health conferences that targeted thousands of students throughout Southern California. Alex also worked as a supplemental general chemistry instructor and as an advisor at the university. Currently, he is in his second year of medical school.
