About
I am the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants. As a first-generation student pursuing a career in healthcare, I want to ensure that underrepresented minority students from low socio-economic status are provided with the tools and resources to reach their goals. My interests include: health, education, and social justice. I am part of UCLA PRIME, a dual degree program committed to leadership in underserved communities. In addition, I am also passionate about de-stigmatizating mental health in our hometown communities, as well within the medical field. My goal is to become a physician leader in El Monte/Echo Park and continue working together with pipeline programs.
