About
Brenda was born in Los Angeles, CA but moved to Fontana, CA at a young age. She received her Bachelor’s of Science in Psychobiology from UCLA. Here, she grew interested in the aging population and in cancer patients. She took several Gerontology classes to foster this interest and is considering a future in Geriatrics and/or medical oncology. She was also involved in Colleges Against Cancer at UCLA and helped plan the annual Relay for Life event at Drake Stadium. Her research during undergraduate study included both of these interests. She took a gap year before medical school and worked at an ophthalmology office. In her free time, she enjoys sleeping on the beach, playing volleyball and eating ice cream.
