Eric B. Gordon is a partner in the Health Law Department of McDermott, Will & Emery's Los Angeles office. Mr. Gordon has extensive experience with medical groups, hospitals, integrated delivery systems, and academic medical centers.

Mr. Gordon has worked extensively in the rapidly-evolving area of hospital-physician integration, representing both medical groups and hospital systems. He has organized and represents several faculty practice plans with respect to recruitment. tax exemption, and other regulatory and organizational issues.

Mr. Gordon belongs to the California State Bar. He received his law degree from the University of California at Los Angeles, where he graduated second in his class and was Order of the Coif. He obtained a Doctor of Medicine degree and a bachelor's degree, both from Brown University, with election to Phi Beta Kappa.

Mr. Gordon has spoken before the Medical Group Management Association, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, and various other physician and hospital groups. He is the author of the "Teaching and Research Hospitals" section of Health Care Corporate Law: Facilities and Transactions (Little, Brown 1996) and Faculty Practice Plans, a treatise in BNA's Health Law & Business Series (1996).
