Jessica is a native of Los Angeles, CA who looks forward to working as a physician for the people of our city with limited options for healthcare. For her graduate research she examined local understandings of private property in rural Guatemala that are used to justify the denial of healthcare and social services to families living in coffee and rubber plantations. When she is not studying you will find her listening to NPR podcasts, running, and eating ice cream with friends.
