Mausam Damani is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, holding dual degrees in Molecular & Cell Biology and Public Health. Throughout her undergraduate career she explored her interests in medicine, the biological sciences and public health by volunteering as a science and health teacher in the Oakland school system, writing and editing for a campus science journal, and playing with brain slices in a neuroscience laboratory, amongst other things. Her free time is spent watching foreign films, trying new recipes on her unsuspecting family and dreaming about the exotic vacations she will one day take.
