Dr. Michael L. Steinberg, FACR, is a board-certified specialist in radiation oncology. He is a founding partner of the Santa Monica Cancer Treatment Center and Cancer Care Consultants Medical Associates. Although Dr. Steinberg spends a majority of his time in the clinical practice of radiation oncology, he is also involved in clinical research and is the Principle Investigator for a Disparity in Cancer Care Grant from the National Cancer Institute. Dr. Steinberg is a member of the Board of Radiation Oncology's national specialty organization, ASTRO, where he chairs the Health Policy Council for ASTRO.

Dr. Steinberg earned his M.D. degree from University of Southern California and completed specialty training in Radiation Oncology at UCLA. He is Chair of the Cancer Program Committee at Santa Monica/UCLA Medical Center and is a member of the Physician Advisory Board for the Wellness Community in Santa Monica, California. In addition, he serves on the executive board of the IMPACT program for California which allows access to care for uninsured men with prostate cancer. In recognition of his contribution and professional leadership in the field of radiation oncology, Dr. Steinberg was elected Fellow of the American College of Radiology and the American College of Radiation Oncology.
