Nevine graduated from UCI in 2001 with a degree in Biological Sciences and an emphasis in Microbiology. She was born and raised in Africa and traveled to the United States with her family in her early teens for new opportunities. After graduating college, she decided to indulge in-depth in her research projects, where she worked full-time during the week and pursued her Masters in Public Health in Healthcare Management and Policy on the weekends through an executive program at UCLA. Upon her graduation she decided to work in consulting in the Health Industries Advisory at PricewaterhouseCoopers where she managed to alter and improve upon healthcare and clinical research systems changes across the county. Through the health care symposium, Nevine hopes to allow other students to partake in her very enjoyable experience in learning about the most important issues facing healthcare today in the hopes of empowering each person to make a difference, on either a personal or wide-scale level, when they embark upon their careers in the future.
