Roberto Gonzalez Huerta was born in Hidalgo, Mexico, and raised in Petaluma, CA. He attended UC Berkeley where he was involved in Chican@s/Latin@s in Health Education(C.H.E.) as well as the Highland Health Advocates where he promoted access to healthcare in the community. After graduating with a double major in Integrative Biology and Psychology, he worked for a community health center before attending medical school.
