Stephanie Clavijo

I am the daughter of Mexican immigrant parents and was raised in Riverside, California. I attended UCLA for undergrad and was a Physiological Science Major and Public Health Minor. Before starting medical school, I served as a Community HealthCorps member at St. Anthony's Medical Clinic in the Tenderloin of San Francisco. There, I was a Diabetes self-management and smoking cessation counselor and hosted a cooking class for patients every 2 weeks.
