Vidhi Singh is a first-year medical student at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Originally from Seattle, Vidhi majored in bioengineering at the University of Washington. During her undergraduate, she developed point-of-care diagnostic tests for infectious diseases and participated in clinical research at Seattle Children’s Hospital, utilizing informatics to develop care plans for children with medical complexity. After graduation, Vidhi studied cancer care disparities, organizing educational events and building informational tools for patients and healthcare providers. Through these varying experiences, Vidhi developed a passion for improving healthcare access through education, advocacy, and technological discoveries. At DGSOM, she co-facilitates the American Medical Women’s Association and enjoys volunteering at the Mobile Clinic Project.
